I've been a crafter since 2006. In 2019, I started collecting art prints, gift tags, and postcards.
Recently, I've been addicted to stationery, washi tapes, and stickers.
Since I now own lots and lots of sticker packs, I noticed that I can recycle the colorful cardboard sheets that come from sticker packs into gift tags and bookmarks.
This project is a quick craft and can be done in 10-15 minutes, and requires only a beginner's level in skill.
If you're a parent or guardian and you want to temporarily wean your kids away from their screens, you can do this type of quick craft with them.
Gift Tags and Bookmarks: Materials
- cardboard sheets from sticker packs
- paper cutter (or pen, ruler, and scissors)
- twine (or ribbon or colorful yarn)
Procedure
(1.) Gather all colorful cardboard sheets from sticker packs.
(2.) Use a paper cutter to trim the excess portion from the cardboard (you can also draw a line with a pencil and ruler and cut with scissors).
(3.) After you're done, use a paper twine and tie your gift tag into a paper bag (you can also use a ribbon or colorful yarn).
(4.) Insert your new bookmark in a book.
