In the 1st part of my blog post, I cited several good reasons for choosing a crafty ladies' night in, among them for curbing alcohol consumption, choosing a more wholesome and frugal way of entertainment, while at the same time not taking away from the fun of the occasion.
I also enumerated 5 crafts of which you can experiment with your girl friends. Here are the remaining 8 types of crafts:
(6.) Decoupaged container
If you have any of those tin metal boxes or cans lying around the house, you can turn them into attractive containers by using a technique called decoupage.
You can use wax paper, paper napkins, Japanese paper, or even recycle pages from old magazines. Given endless options, you'll have several chic containers to store sewing supplies and other knickknacks in no time.
(7.) Dream catcher
If you want to DIY something whimsical, aesthetic, but relatively easy, who not go for a dream catcher?
The video tutorial above shows how a basic dream catcher can be made out of a wooden ring and crochet yarn.
And this dream catcher can be further modified. You and your friends can choose yarn in your favorite colors, or replace the wooden ring with a recycled cutout from a pizza box, or any sturdy cardboard.
(8.) Phone accessories
Want to instantly jazz up the look of your phone? Why not craft a bunch of phone charms/straps?
Since the phone charm trend started in Japan and South Korea in the 2000s, what was originally intended as a good luck charm and form of self-expression has evolved into a chic and trendy "must-have," not only among celebrities and influencers, but young girls and ladies as well.
You can place an order ahead of time for beads in different colors, sizes, shapes, and textures. You can even attach a cute pendant.
(9.) Fortune cookie purse
Want to own a high-end purse made popular by a celebrity, without the high-end price tag? Why not DIY your own purse?

(10.) Pin cushions
Got some leftover fabric or fabric quarters from quilting? Why not turn them into cute pin cushions?
Pin cushions are relatively easy to make, and you don't need to be skilled with a sewing machine, just handy with a needle and thread.
(11.) Felt cup sleeve
Who doesn't love scorching hot coffee during cold, sleepy mornings, as a companion to a good book, or served with a warm batch of pancakes?

(12.) Recycled notebook craft
Still have those excess notebook pages or sheets of notepad? Why not turn them into a "brand new" notebook, using all-purpose glue, thick cardboard (empty cereal or pizza box is best), and excess wrapping paper?
Follow the video tutorial above, and you'll have a notebook for journaling, jotting down ideas, writing down recipes, composing poetry, keeping a record of quotes and song lyrics,
(13.) Paper pumpkin crafts
Since we just celebrated Halloween, why not make some cute paper pumpkins? All you need is orange cardstock, paper fasteners, and brown and green pipe cleaners.

This is just a basic tutorial. You can use other sizes of cardstock (A4, legal size, or trim all sizes in half, to create a variety of pumpkin sizes), and other variations of fall-themed colors (yellow-orange, light yellow, etc. to DIY other colors of pumpkins).
